According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
